Our Year Wrapped

Graphic Design

Over the past 10 years, I have had the privilege of advising and teaching a graphics class, where we produced an annual publication that showcased the creative work of our students. Each year, I not only led the design and production process but also managed the budgeting, execution, and overall vision for the book.

 

Out of the 10 editions I've overseen, one of my favorites was inspired by the "Spotify Wrapped" theme. For this particular book, we drew inspiration from music trends and popular releases, integrating vibrant colors, dynamic visuals, and a modern aesthetic that resonated with the student body.

The cover was a standout element, incorporating foil accents to create a visually striking, tactile experience. Additionally, we incorporated interactive technology by embedding a Spotify QR code on the cover, which allowed readers to scan and access a curated playlist that reflected the soundtrack of the school year. This project not only showcased my expertise in graphic design and project management but also highlighted my ability to blend traditional print techniques with modern digital interactivity, creating an engaging, multi-sensory experience for the audience.
